Kerobin Lapawon, PMHNP-BC, has 14 years of RN experience, initially in the medical-surgical department to the emergency unit, Home health Nursing, and finally found her passion for mental health in the correctional setting in 2019. Kerobin earned her BSN from Saint Louis University in the Philippines in 2008. She then completed her Master’s Degree at Walden University in Minnesota last May 2022. She became board-certified in July of the same year in Florida. She also gained valuable clinical experience while working as a psychiatric nurse at the Intensive Mental Health Unit at Maine State Prison.
When Kerobin isn’t caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends at CFC.

Kerobin’s passion for becoming a nurse practitioner stems from her love of being part of someone’s healing process as she helps them find freedom in all aspects of their life, especially in mental, emotional, and spiritual health. She feels that her mission is to bring hope to people who feel like they are hopeless.

She also incorporate vital statistics to better understand what will work best for you: Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ9), General Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ), Vanderbilt Questionnaire for parents and teachers, Adult ADHD Scale, PTSD Questionnaire, and much more.
